Alleblas - ISBN: 9061202329 - juli 1980). == De tekst bij de foto: == "Een stukje verderop langs de Burgemeester de Raadtsingel, op de hoek met de Dubbeldamseweg, werd in de loop van 1882 naar ontwerp en op rekening van architect H.W. Veth villa Spoorzicht neergezet. Dr. F.M. Cowan, de geneesheer van het Krankzinnigengesticht, werd de eerste bewoner en na hem volgden nog A.A. Colombijn van Raamsdonk, direkteur van de levensverzekeringsmaatschappij Dordrecht, en de koopman D. Brand Azn. alvorens in 1912 J.M.C. Kievits het pand betrok. Deze fabrikant, die nog katholiek was ook, werd door de Dordtse koopman-regenten min of meer als parvenu behandeld, doch toen hij als een der eersten, elektrisch licht had laten aanleggen kwamen de meesten toch maar eens bij hem kijken. Met gebruik making van gedeelten van de voornamen van zijn kinderen veranderde hij de naam van Spoorzicht in Domo Ricor. Voordat in de zomer van 1933 afbraak volgde, woonde er nog o.a. mr. A. van Os. De bomen en de sloot verdwenen in het begin van de zestiger jaren. Het dubbele herenhuis aan de Dubbeldamseweg tussen Oranjepark en Toulonselaan, in 1876 eveneens naar een ontwerp van Veth gebouwd, ziet tegenwoordig de gehele dag uit op lange rijen passerende auto's."
